In line with the local planning guidelines, the project arises from a proposal for the sustainable reclaiming of a margin, in harmony with the existing vegetation, the river, the neighbouring fabric of the city and the changing functional needs. A subtle development that makes citizens aware of the value of the natural and urban environment they inhabit, so that they can benefit from the use of it in order to protect and enhance it. In line with this, concepts relating to“the moving garden” are of particular importance. Their inclusion was suggested for the creation of the new system of public spaces and for the growth of vegetation, which would develop from the band along the river to the new part of the city, penetrating it through longitudinal public and private spaces.
